PENINSULA ANIMAL REFERRAL CENTER (PARC)
The PARC formerly known as Peninsula Emergency Veterinarian Clinic (PEVC) has provided great services since 1975! There are a number of veterinarians, certified veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants that are trained in urgent medicine, which helps to provide you with the best possible care.
During the hours of operation, there is always a doctor present on the premise. (757) 874-8115

Holidays: 8:00am – 8:00am (next day following holiday)
PENINSULA VETERINARY SPECIALISTS FACILITY (PVSF)
This new addition was added onto the Peninsula Emergency Veterinary Clinic in 2004. The facility houses a number of veterinary specialist including Dermatology, Neurology, Soft tissue/Orthopedic surgery, Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. Below are the specialists that are presently at the PVSF.
1. BLUE PEARL VETERINARIAN PARTNERS (DERMATOLOGY)
**David Genovese, DVM, DAVCD**
Animal Allergy & Dermatology is made up of board certified veterinary dermatologists who are trained to recognize and treat skin diseases and allergies that can be chronic and very frustrating. Provides diagnosis and treatment for all skin and allergy conditions, endocrine testing, immuno testing, and hypersensitization. As specialists, they strive to stay current on newly recognized disease and therapies.
2. ANIMAL EYE CARE (OPHTHALMOLOGY )

Animal Eye Care is a veterinary ophthalmology practice offering advanced medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases in animals including vision loss, cataracts, glaucoma, corneal ulcers, ocular tumors, and eyelid diseases. Your pet will be evaluated by a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist using specialized diagnostic equipment. They work with your family veterinarian to improve the quality of your pet’s vision.
3. BAY AREA VETERINARY SURGERY P.C. (BAVS)

NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY- COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
The NC State-CVM hospital is divided into individual referral services, including: Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Oncology, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, and Avian & Reptile Medicine.
